HB1004:  requires public libraries to adopt Internet safety programs to protect juveniles from pornography.:  Passed 3/26/04

HB 1279: increases an owner’s potential liability when their dog bites someone by allowing the victims to pursue civil action and recover damages. The law bans llocal breed-specific “dangerous dog” laws.  Passed 4/19/04

HB 1403:  created independent Office of the Child’s Ombudsman in the legislative branch that would have been aimed at reducing deaths from child abuse and better protecting children from abuse and neglect.
