Thank you so much for your support in our effort to restore Principles to Congress!  To my family, friends, and supporters, congratulations on making this the closest race against Congressman Lewis in decades!  Despite the incumbent’s huge fundraising advantage from lobbyists and Washington special interests, we received a higher percentage of votes than the Democratic registration in this gerrymandered district.  Our message resonated because all Americans expect more from Congress than earmarks for contributors and Washington lobbyists.  We must remain vigilant and speak out for honest government and an end to wasteful spending.

Let’s all unite to support President-Elect Obama!  We have a unique opportunity to change America to provide healthcare to 45 million uninsured Americans, rewrite No Child Left Behind to better serve our Nation’s children, stimulate jobs on Main Street rather than bailouts for Wall Street, and bring our brave troops home.

I am proud of the campaign we ran and the principles of ethical leadership we advocate.  My family and I will be forever grateful for all the friends we made and outpouring of support we received.  I am optimistic that the progress we made will result in better leadership for the Inland Empire.
