for REAL CHANGE into the next Congress.

Let's work to make the House of Representatives a people's house, not the best Congress money can buy!

This is YOUR campaign. Real Change is driven by citizen-leaders who get upset when they have had enough of government’s incompetence and then ACT to do something about it! 75% of the American public disapproves of the job Congress is doing. What are YOU going to do about it?

My thoughts about public service and Congressional representation are:

• Politics is a responsibility, not a career.
• I believe that I have a moral obligation to vote the preferences of the majority of people in my district – that I am elected to represent the district, not my personal opinions.
• Congress is backward, knee-jerk, corrupt and resists change. It is badly in need of reform.
• REAL CHANGE is really possible. It starts with one person with a vision, one innovator or one entrepreneur and one YOU talking to others. It does not come from playing a Washington insider’s game.
• Government cannot be “for” the people if the politics to elect the government is not “of’ and “by” them.
• We need a government that works with and for people and the public interest, not special interests, big money, media hype, political pro’s, elitist “experts” and the politically self-interested.

If you want to make a real difference, you need to help elect a really different kind of candidate. Thus, please let me describe my qualities to show you why I am truly the “different kind of candidate” who can serve you best in Congress. I am…

• An innovator and change-agent, someone who thinks "out of the box" and speaks his mind, not a go-along, get-along politician.
• A watchdog, whistleblower and enforcer of accountability.
• A conservative economist with international experience who can help you weather the downside and deal with global competition.
• A far-sighted person who keeps his eye on the ball of how to make things better over the long term, not the ball of the next election.
• A man who puts forth an enforceable “compact” with constituents.
• A candidate who would devote the resources of his salary and office to informing, enabling, and empowering you, not for self-promotion.
• A candidate who has signed the NH pledge to limit campaign expenditures, so we can end the financial arms-race that congressional politics has become.
• A candidate who would fight to fulfill President Reagan’s dream – to move power and money out of Washington and back to you.
