Hi! Welcome to our website. We are the Milton Township Republican Central Committee and are composed of 109 enthusiastic volunteer Precinct Committeemen and women. Milton is one of the nine townships that make up DuPage County. DuPage County is at the heart of Republican politics in Illinois and Milton Township is in the heart of DuPage County. Milton Township consistently turns out some of the highest percentage Republican votes in the state and we want to keep it that way! We are very proud that Milton Township government operates in the black and with a high degree of efficiency and professionalism. Since all elected Township officials are Republican, we see a strong connection. Our Township includes all of Glen Ellyn and Wheaton plus portions of Downers Grove, Lombard, Carol Stream and Winfield.
As the grass roots organization of the Republican Party we are guided by the following goals:
- To promote the general principles of the Republican Party Platform; smaller government, free enterprise, lower taxes, a strong national defense, traditional family values and respect for God and Country.
- To encourage active involvement in the political process.
- To be an active partner in civic and community activities and events.
- To meet with, evaluate and promote Republican candidates at all levels.
- To provide accurate information on topics and candidates which impact the citizens and tax payers in our area.
- To promote individual responsibility over government dependency.
- To always act in the best interest of our neighbors and fellow citizens.
We meet regularly at Wheaton Bowl in Wheaton on the second Wednesday of the month. Anyone with a serious interest in helping work toward our goals is welcome to join us. We hope that you’ll find this web site to be the helpful and informative resource we intended. Please feel free to contact us with your concerns, comments or suggestions at any time.
