Why I Am Running...

The residents of Assembly District 4 are not being adequately represented.  We need to elect a candidate who better reflects what we believe and value and who has a real understanding of the challenges we face on a daily basis.  We need someone who knows our district and someone who is willing to actively involve the people of the district in the decision making process.  

I have lived in Assembly District 4 for the last 9 1/2 years.  I’ve owned two homes in different areas of the district - one in the unincorporated section designated a rural neighborhood preservation area, and the other in Summerlin with an active homeowners association.  My children attended the public school system in the district.  We shop at the local market, go to the movies and play in the parks here.    

I've watched the district grow and have seen first hand the problems our rapid growth has created for all of us.  We need to focus on those challenges, and we need to make some hard decisions.  We need better choices in education and we need qualified teachers in our classrooms.  We need to control spending and commit to no new taxes.  We need to strictly enforce our immigration laws and develop an effective strategy for dealing with illegal immigration in Nevada.  

I have the energy, enthusiasm and experience to be a more effective leader for my friends and neighbors in Assembly District 4...and ask for your vote on August 15th.
