“Henry Blackabee has said that “If Society as a whole seems to be getting darker and darker, it is not the problem of the Darkness.  The Darkness is just acting like it’s nature, but it is time for the Light to say, if things are getting darker, the problem lies with us.*”  Here's your chance to be part of the solution!

Who we are!

The Association of Maryland Families (www.mdfamilies.org) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), tax deductible organization that seeks to make a difference in the public arena regarding the issues that matter most.  We stand for integrity in government, high moral values, constitutional authority, and Christian principles.  We are not tied to any political party.  We are working with Focus on the Family to become their associated Family Policy Council for Maryland. Our purpose is to educate voters and politicians to keep their commitment to both liberty and law; that America may continue to be one nation under God.

The Maryland Family Protection Lobby (www.fplmd.org) is a non-profit, 501(c)(4) organization that seeks to influence our elected representatives regarding the issues that matter most.  We stand for integrity in government, high moral values, constitutional authority, and Christian principles.  We are not tied to any political party.   We work with the Association of Maryland Families and provide the direct lobbying and grassroots support needed to accomplish our mutual goals.

Our volunteer page: (www.ccmaryland.org): This page is for the Grassroots Volunteers of the Association of Maryland Families and the Maryland Family Protection Lobby.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to equip, encourage, and exhort Christians and others who care about the moral fabric of our nation to be responsible, informed and involved citizens.

Our Five-Fold Purpose:

Represent the pro-family point of view before local councils, the state legislature and the Congress.

Speak Out in the public arena and in the media concerning pro-family issues.

Train Christians and pro-family leaders for effective social and political action.

Oppose anti-Christian bigotry and defend the rights of people of faith.

Inform pro-family voters about timely issues and legislation.

Our Goals Include Support for:

·         Promoting the biblical role of government

·         Supporting and strengthening the family

·         Protecting innocent human life

·         Defending the institution of marriage

·         Protecting religious freedom

·         Returning education to local and parental control

·         Easing the tax burden on families

·         Punishing criminals and defending victims' rights

·         Protecting young people and our communities from the pollution of pornography

·         Opposing the proliferation of slot machines in Maryland
