The Journey Has Just Begun

The last several months have been incredible for me and I am indebted to each of you for your support and efforts on my behalf. I am moved by the response I have garnered through my campaign and have been touched by those who feel that my efforts have been positive for Southern Dallas County. To those who contributed to my campaign through volunteerism, grass roots efforts, and financially, I hope I made you proud through my efforts.

I feel the efforts of my campaign have not been in vain as we have begun the process of opening the eyes of those who traditionally campaigned only through conventional methods. To reach the masses we must think past the idea of merely “motivating your base of support”. We must boldly inspire people to see a new vision and a better future for their family and their community.

Over the next several months I will turn my attention to special projects that I am passionate about and that have a lasting positive effect on the community. I desire a better and safer place to raise our children and grandchildren, a job market that can create optimism for those who wish to work, and schools that build character in our young adults as they become the leaders of tomorrow. I am committed to serving our community and will continue to do so.

Thanks again for your support and encouragement. I have traveled one step closer in a journey that has just begun and I am thrilled to have you with me.
