Santa Barbarans have long honored our City's specialness by selecting excellence over excess.  As a citizen advocate, I have devoted the past five years fighting for thoughtful traffic solutions, the voice of neighborhoods, and against government waste.  As a businesswoman with 35 years experience, I recognize that our financially-strapped city must become more fiscally responsible to maintain our quality of life.

My objective is to restore within-our-means spending to City Hall and a thriving economic climate friendly to local businesses.  My goals include cleaning up downtown and the parks, and tackling crime by enforcing our laws. My objective is for every neighborhood to be cherished for it's uniqueness.

Those who came before us took a devastating earthquake and turned it into an opportunity, putting us on the world map as leaders in environmentalism, sustainability and volunteerism.  Our City is worth preserving, and I pledge to do that.  I am asking for your vote
