Dearest RWOS Friends,

Greetings!

I am honored to serve as your club president for 2009.  Thanks for your vote of confidence.  We do have some major challenges ahead of us, but I know that with God’s help and our concerted actions, RWOS can make a difference in the political, economic and moral climate of our communities and the country.   Here are some achievable goals for 2009 which will enable us to make a difference. 

· Increase our club membership, recruiting women from all walks of life

· Develop fundraising initiatives

· Recruit Republicans to help carry our banner in 2010

· Promote our Republican party candidates in all elections, including non-partisan elections

· Educate our membership and communities on the issues and Republican Party principles

I want to encourage each of you to think of just one way you can increase your participation with our club.  I know everyone can’t attend our monthly meetings, but please think of something you can do from your home to help us achieve our goals. 

Please come to our meetings if possible.  Vice President, Joy Ann Perry has some fantastic speakers lined up and we have a lot of FUN getting together.  We will have a $1.00/ticket ($2.00/3 tickets) raffle at each meeting this year.   Please stay for lunch at VCC.  Sharing a meal together really builds camaraderie.
