Republicans Abroad Switzerland (RAS) is the Swiss Chapter of Republicans Abroad International (RAI). As American citizens living in Switzerland, RAS members are proud to promote the traditions of democracy and federalism which unite these two great countries.
RAS provides a forum for Republicans living in Switzerland to support the GOP and exchange information and ideas, a political home away from home for members of the party of Abraham Lincoln. Our Chapter has provided two previous Chairs of Republicans Abroad International – Jim Fees and John McCarthy - and we were Chapter of the Year in 2000 and 2001.
We are a volunteer organization, self-supporting and self-governing. We assist Americans with absentee voter registration, and, working with RAI, to maintain a dialogue between our members and their elected officials in the United States.
