Berkeley County Republicans have several options regarding active involvement in the life of the party. First is the Berkeley County Republican Executive Committee. This is the official elected body whose members are chosen on the Primary Election Ballot in non-Presidential Election years (e.g. 2006; 2010, etc) for a four year term of office. The Committee holds regularly scheduled business meetings and the public is invited to attend.
Next is the Berkeley County Republican Club. The Club also holds regularly scheduled meetings that may include dinner and socializing prior to the Club business meeting. You are welcome to attend these meetings also and membership in the Club is by payment of a small amount of annual dues. The Club has guest speakers for its meetings and the time and place for the meeting is generally announced in the local paper.
Another link on this web site is for the Gateway Republican Women. This is a group affiliated with the State and National Federation of Republican Women. Again, regularly scheduled meetings are held and the time and place is announced in the local media. All Republican women are welcome to join.
Of course, in addition to the Clubs and Committees, we are always looking for active Republicans to assist us in the election of Republicans to public office…which is our reason for being. Our goal in 2008 is to win a majority for every one our candidates in Berkeley County! Help us achieve this goal.
