Welcome Friends of Republican Women of Leelanau County. We hope you will be a frequent visitor.

We were chartered in 1997, beginning with 18 members. We now have 97.

We are an active group with our main emphasis being to educate women on the issues: federal, state, and local, as well as, elect Republicans.

When you join the RWLC you also become a member of the Republican Women's Federation of Michigan (RWFM), founded in 1925, and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), founded in 1938. The NFRW, with over 100,000 women, is the largest and most active political organization in the United States. By joining the RWLC you will become knowledgeable about Republican political issues and be a voice to promote good government at every level.
