Del. Blair is worthy of trust, which is rare in today's politics. I witnessed first-hand his approach to tackling a troublesome issue, which was to gather the facts before determining where he stood on the issue. Once he determines what was true and right, he was tenacious in pursuing justice. I would vote for him for Governor, even though he is not running!

Craig was elected to the House the same year I was elected to the Senate. We worked together on issues important to us and the people of West Virginia. I found Craig to be very cooperative and most innovative when it came to getting the job done. As a freshman delegate, Craig was already showing signs that he was a leader and an "up and comer" in the Republican party. His devotion to his constituents is unquestionable. If I were a resident of his district, I would definitely and proudly vote for Craig Blair.

Craig displays leadership in a unique manner...he listens to his constituents. His concerns are based on what is best for Berkeley County and collectively the Eastern Panhandle, which may not always be in his own personal business related best interest, but in the best interest of those he represents. He speaks his beliefs and I've never known him to quietly bite his tongue for fear that his words or actions would offend. For those reasons I believe that the type of leadership that Craig Blair offers is seldom seen and greatly needed. Please support Craig by voting for him to return to Charleston.

Wow! What else can I say? I remember the evening Craig called to tell me he had made the decision to seek election for the 52nd District of the House of Delegates for the State of West Virginia. I must say knowing Craig for the entirety of my life I laughed rather copiously. Now that I have your attention let me tell you, that laughter was not for the reasons you would imagine. That laughter was caused by the immediate realization that the tone of his voice carried no room for error that this was no joke. Knowing Craig as well as I do I have learned to listen closely to what he has to say. The people of West Virginia would be well served to do the same. Craig’s willingness to share his wisdom or opinion is a virtue that I know comes from generations of his ancestors. Those ancestors have lived in or around Berkeley County longer than we have been the great State of West Virginia. What better a servant to the community could a resident of Berkeley County ask for? Craig has demonstrated to me countless times his uncanny ability to distinguish between his personal interest and the good of the consensus. I personally want my voice to be heard in Charleston from a representative with the qualities in which Craig processes and you should too.

I have known Craig for 40 years, or since elementary school. We attended school together through graduation and have remained friends. Even before his political career, Craig has always welcomed input from the people around him concerning matters important to him. He appreciates productive criticism as well as productive feedback. He is an organizer, a hard worker and above all a sold out patriot for democracy and the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. He is a strong Republican, but not closed minded. He welcomes working along the Bi-partisan front. He respects the ideas of others but is strong about what is right for our state and country. After knowing him all these years, you would think I would have something bad to say about him, but I can truly say that he is one of the most honest people I know. Sometimes that honesty may not be well received by others but Craig is upstanding in his beliefs in God ,country and family values. I believe a vote for Craig would be voting for the integrity and positive change we need today to benefit our county and state in the upcoming years. His continual updates about what is happening in the state and the legislature is a great source of unbiased information for those who don't want to be bored by the spin we receive from local newspapers.
