The Fourteenth District

The Fourteenth Court of Appeals is one of fourteen intermediate appellate courts in the state of Texas.  The Fourteenth Court has jursidiction over appeals in civil and criminal cases from state district and county courts in a ten county area, except for death penalty cases.  The Court has a Chief Justice and eight justices who normally sit in panels of 3 judges when deciding cases.  Counties in the Fourteenth District include:

  • Grimes
  • Harris
  • Waller
