WELCOME TO MY RE-ELECTION WEBSITE. 

Since 1995 it has been my honor to serve as your Washoe County District Attorney.  Why am I running for office again?  Safety for the public, particularly our children, has been my major goal.   Truckee Meadows Tomorrow conducted a survey in 1995 which revealed that 42% of the residents in Truckee Meadows felt they were safe.  That figure has steadily increased with 72% of the citizens feeling safe in 2007.  Collaboration among federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, of which the District Attorney's Office is one, is a major contributor to this belief. 

I love what I do.  The only political office I have ever sought is that of Washoe County District Attorney and I am asking for your vote again.  Part of that is a basic belief is that people who commit crimes, in particular violent ones where others are hurt, should be held responsible for their criminal conduct, whether that means a prison sentence, life in prison or the death penalty.
