I truly appreciate all the support I received. It is heart warming to know that all of you cared enough to get involved. I humbly thank all of you.
When I was appointed Commissioner on September 14, 2009 I knew I was in for a real challenge ahead of me. With the support from my family we decided it would be a challenge worth taking. I do not regret one minute of the last seven weeks. It has been an awesome experience. I have met terrific people whose friendship I will cherish.
Although I did not win I have acheived a lot by simply trying. I would have lost before I began if I did not try. Your encouragement and support helped me to acheive this goal.
I hold my head high and look forward to the next challenge that life brings knowing that I have friends to support me along the way.
