Political Courage

After raising and spending almost no money to win the Primary Election last May, I have been forced to accept reality.  My opponent, the incumbent, raised in wealth on a horse farm, has spent 14 years making promises to get contributors to bankroll his continuous campaigns to keep him on the taxpayer dole.

I'm just a poor self-employed guy, who has to keep working to pay bills for myself and my dependent.  I cannot match Mr. Chandler's millions, nor do I intend to pander to the myriads of groups vying for my commitments to their special interests.

What I can do is give voters an alternative - a real choice - an idea.  Simply, do you want someone like my opponent, who accomodates his party bosses and supporting friends, or do you want someone who has the courage to say no to his party and say yes to unpopular but realistic ideas?
