The Klimek Values

Like other members of the middle class, the Klimek family lives within their income, tries to save for the future, and makes choices that they hope will provide a better life for their family.  Tony Klimek believes in responsibility and accountability.  He will stand up for the taxpayers of Butler County and demand that the state government operate in accordance with the following:

  • Live Within Our Means.  Tony Klimek is committed to making sure our tax dollars are spent wisely and we live within our budget.  Government services should be provided in an efficient and cost effective manner.  The effectiveness of our programs must be continually evaluated; technology and innovation should be used to constantly improve services.

  • Invest In What Matters.  We need to invest in education, infrastructure, and other issues that will provide a strong foundation on which to build a bright future for Ohio.  We need to make sure that all Ohio children have the opportunity for a solid education that prepares them for today’s global economy.  Our K-12 funding system should be fixed to address the inequities that have been ignored for years.

  • Work Together on the Tough Issues.  We need to discuss and address the tough issues facing our state and obtain input from all stakeholders.  Taxes, energy, school funding, and infrastructure should be addressed in a bi-partisan manner.  The recent partisan games played by our representatives that excluded elected officials from the legislative process simply because they were from another political party are a disgrace.  Representatives that want to play partisan games do not belong in Columbus.  Tony Klimek will work with the Governor and all members of state government in a respectful manner to address the tough issues.
