Attorney General Richard Blumenthal Defends Illegal Aliens

In Stamford, thousands of dollars have been paid to illegal aliens who worked on construction sites building million dollar condominiums.

These illegal workers took jobs that belonged to American Workers.

Now Attorney General Richard Blumenthal is joining the illegal workers in a legal suit for unpaid back wages.

In eighteen years as Attorney General, Richard Blumenthal has done nothing to stop the employment of illegal aliens.

Blumenthal has not pressed criminal actions against employers of illegal aliens for state taxes, social security, unemployment insurance or workers compensation.

Attorney General Blumenthal makes no distinctions between illegal aliens and American workers.  And does nothing for American workers.

If you are an illegal and lost wages, call Richard Blumenthal.

If you are an American Citizen and an immigrant took your job, forget about it.

Legal notes: While it sounds somehow fair to enforce the agreement between the workers and the employer, what the law is then doing is enforcing a contract for a criminal activity. It is illegal, punishable by fines and imprisonment, to employ illegals in this country. Therefore, what Blumenthal is doing is promoting criminal activity.

For example, would it be "fair" if two Mexican mules did not get paid for transporting cocaine into Stamford.  Would Blumenthal then argue that he will use his powers to have the contract enforced, so that other drug smugglers also get paid?

For Blumenthal to say that this suit will encourage contractors to hire Americans and pay them wages, is simply nonsense. What it will simply do is encourage more illegals to come to the Connecticut because the Attorney General will now defend them on wage issues.

RICO suits (racketeering). The employers of these illegals are engaging in a criminal activity concerning immigration. Therefore, any competitors who lost jobs or income can file a federal civil suit against these employers. For example, a cleaning company lost a contract because his competitor was employing illegals.  The company sued and won triple damages. Any competitor of these companies using illegals should consider a RICO suit.
