Harry Reid was proud to surrender our freedoms to the terrorists when he signed onto the Patriot Act and even stood smiling behind George Bush as secret arrests, secret searches, and a host of police state provisions were signed into law. As a personal defense instructor, Jim knows we cannot protect our personal security by surrendering our freedom.

Harry Reid is a consumate professional politician, telling the Las Vegas Review Journal that he is proud to have voted for the war in Iraq and also telling the nation, the world, and most importantly our troops, that the "war is lost". And, now, that he is the Majority Leader of the United States Senate, he has failed to protect our troops .

The soon to be former Senate Majority Leader says the War on Terror is lost. I say we have not yet begun to fight.

General McChrystal is right when he says that "our conventional warfare culture is part of the problem" in Afghanistan. We need a new strategy that allows the Afghan people to govern themselves. We also have a responsibility to see to it that terrorists like Mahmoud Ahmed are brought to justice for the evil crimes they have committed.

Jim knows it is time to stop engaging in what candidate George W Bush called nation building. Instead, we must focus our attention on apprehending known terrorists like so called "General" Ahmed, who was the chief financier of 9/11 and who is still at large. And, according to General McChrystal, Ahmed's terrorist organization is still providing material aid and comfort to the Quetta Shura Taliban and the Haqqani Network within Afghanistan.

Harry Reid voted for both of the unconstitutional so-called bailouts that have deepened the Bush/Cheney Recession into a New Depression. First, Harry voted for Bush's unconstitutional handout to Big Insurance. Then, he voted for Obama's unconstitutional handout to Big Banking. And we still don't know where most of that money went or is!

As an Economist, Jim knows that you cannot spend or inflate your way out of debt. We need substantial and systemic reform of Big Banking that will make sure every dollar in every working man's pocket is as good as gold. Jim's first act upon taking a seat in the United States Senate, will be to sponsor the sister legislation to Ron Paul's H.R. 1207 and H.R. 833, which would drastically improve the strength, security, and value of our American dollar at home and around the world.

Together, we can right our course.
