We cannot continue to accept the status quo in Washington. Congress no longer represents "We the People." I do not believe we need to remake America or remake the Republican Party. What we need is to recommit to the values and principles articulated in the Constitution and the Republican Party Platform.

I am one of you, one of "We the People." I have no political pedigree. I don't have deep pockets to self-finance my campaign. I'm not well-connected within the legal and financial communities with access to well-heeled donors. I am running a grass roots campaign to represent you. Not Washington. Not special interests. Not me.

I am an ordinary citizen of ordinary means who has been blessed with many extraordinary opportunities throughout my life that have prepared me for this challenge and for this moment. I believe my life's experiences, professional expertise, personality - and sense of humor - uniquely qualify me as the candidate of "We the People." I have the passion, conservative ideas, core values, leadership experience, and desire to serve and represent the people of South Carolina's Fourth Congressional District.

We don't just need a different 4th Congressional District Representative. We need different representation.

I believe it is time for bold, new, fresh, principled, responsible and conservative leadership in Congress.
