About Tim

Tim is a moderate, independent Republican who lives in Glencoe with his wife Deborah and young daughter Isabelle.  Tim is a former investment banker and municipal bond lawyer helping school districts, park districts and other units of local government find resources to build better schools, fund education and healthcare and build the important infrastructure we all rely on.  Tim is a recognized expert on governmental finance and is a frequent speaker across the State of Illinois on government finance topics and is an advocate of public-public and public-private partnerships to help pay for essential services. Tim has spoken to groups such as the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association and was invited to speak at the Illinois State Tresurer's Annual Local Government Finance Conference.

Tim is no stranger to public service having served as an elected Community College Trustee, a Zoning Board Member and a Park District Commissioner.  Tim is also active with the Illinois Association of Park Districts where he works with Park, Forest and Conservation Districts across Illinois to preserve and protect our open space and natural resources.

Tim is an independent thinker that recognizes that the only way to work to solve our many issues is to do so in a bi-partisan, common-sense and practical manner.  Lasting reform comes through collaboration and dialog.

Tim belives in empowering Illinoisans to succeed.  Tim will fight hard in Springfield for the interests of the 58th District--not the special interests in Springfield.

The State of Illinois has very real problems that must be addressed.  Underfunded pensions, a broken education system and a burdensome tax and fee system are crippling this State.  Tim will fight hard to solve these issues and restore respect to our system.

We can rebuild Illinois and fix the problems facing our great state.  With your help we can take back our state government and put it to work for Illinois.
