A Strong Voice For Missouri Senior Citizens

Steve Hodges has shown he is a true friend to our senior citizens. As a first year legislator, Steve fought hard for the passing of the “2007 Senior Tax Justice Act”. This act lowered the tax burden on Missouri's senior citizens.

Steve Hodges has continued to lead the fight for our seniors. Steve has worked to find new ways to improve the services that are provided by the Missouri Senior Nutrition Program. Steve will continue to work hard to ensure that our senior citizens have the services and funding that are needed to continue this vital program for so many of our citizens.

The every rising cost of healthcare has put a major strain on most Missouri families. Our seniors, on fixed incomes, are feeling this pressure at an alarming rate. Many have to choose between buying their prescription drugs or purchasing groceries or heating fuel. As a member of the Health Care Policy Committee, Steve Hodges is fighting for better, more affordable healthcare coverage for all Missouri families.
