How important is "Quality of Life"?

Strong fiscal responsibility is the foundation upon which a Quality of Life is built.  This is true in your own families and businesses and for the City of Beaumont.  I am Council Member Paul St.Martin and I am seeking your vote for City Council so I can continue to preserve the Quality of Life in Beaumont.

A fiscally sound city attracts successful companies with jobs. If elected I will persue bringing jobs at all levels in the fields of health care, R&D, technology and education.

A strong base and a good education system attract families and encourage developers to build sensible housing communities. If elected I will work with the Beaumont-Cherry Valley School District and the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District to ensure that we remain a vibrant community and one in which families want to raise their children and people choose to enjoy their retirement.

Retail follows strong housing. This provides a tax base upon which the City of Beaumont can continue to offer an outstanding police, fire and paramedic team that is second to none and there when you need them!

Quality of Life-making the City of Beaumont the place in which to safely live, work, play, shop and worship. Together we can work to preserve this great city.

I have been honored to serve as a Planning Commissioner for the past five years, serving two terms as Chairperson. I was further honored to be appointed as your City Council Member this past June. I can commit the time and the passion to continue to serve you and to be available to listen to your needs and your concerns. I have been involved with the Highland Springs Medical Plaza to bring the first Men's Health Fair to Beaumont. I am currently involved with Recs. & Park district to bring live theater to Beaumont. I am an active Rotarian involved in the annual Cherry Festival Parade and the Annual Senior Thanksgiving Dinner. I am involved in the negotiations to facilitate the sale of the East Valley Golf Course and ensure that this facility remains the Jewel of Beaumont.

We always have room for improvement. I will continue to work to improve our streets; to further develop strong working relationships with other governing agencies including Recs. & Park; Water Department; County of Riverside; Beaumont USD; and the Morongo Band of Mission Indians. I am a great listener and have a unique ability to get groups and people to work together towards a common goal.

Elect Paul St.Martin, Beaumont City Council to preserve a Quality of Life we have all grown to admire.
