We fought hard to stop Plusquellic's tax increase in 2007 and the sewer lease in 2008. We exposed the fake BASS PRO deal in 2007. We have tried to stop the lies, the bad ideas, and the abuse at the source by getting a new mayor and we failed.

Nevertheless, the conversation will continue. This website will remain a source of primary information based on documents obtained from City Hall. We will continue to expose wrongdoing when we find it and help people obtain the information to combat it.

Change Akron Now and the recall itself seems to have triggered broad interest in City Politics as 50+ people pulled petitions to run for Akron City Council. Change Akron Now, in the spirit of its members, will remain non-partisan in its effort to seek good government for Akron residents.
