Reid-Obama-Pelosi-Emmanuel (R-O-P-E), behind closed doors, killed the U.S. Senate passed bill that would of allowed businesses to run their existing employees through E-Verify to weed out illegal aliens.

California's Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed the bill that would of prevented some employers from using an employment verification system like E-Verify.   California has a large majority of Democrats in its State Senate and Assembly.
