When you don't vote, you let others make your decisions for you. Our democracy is our most precious national resource, yet far too many of us choose not to exercise our right to vote. Your vote on Tuesday, November 4, is critical. If you haven't yet registered to vote, you have until October 6.

Ann Arbor is one of those places with positive proof of the power of a single vote. It was a one-vote margin that gave the city its first African American mayor, Al Wheeler. A lot of people today take credit for that one vote, and they're all right—because they came to the polls. Don't let your voice go unheard. The power to vote is staggering. It's our right to stand up and be counted. We do that at the ballot box. Below are some tools to help make the voting process smooth and easy.
