OLSON ANNOUNCES BID FOR COUNTY BOARD CHAIRMAN

Dear Friends:

We're off and running! After four years as a Trustee on the DuPage Regional Board of Schools and now in my third term as a County Board Member, I have decided to run for County Board Chairman! The current Chairman, Bob Schillerstrom, has announced he will not seek another term. The vacancy has produced an election cycle that is sure to include vigorous debate among candidates and aggressive outreach to voters, both of which are healthy for democracy. So I say, BRING IT ON!

• Sunday October 18th 2009 Debra took first place in the straw poll for DuPage County Board Chairman. The event was hosted by Downers Grove Republican Organization and had an outstanding attendance.

• Thursday October 22nd 2009 - Deb's most recent event, Ladies Night Out at the Spa, was a wonderful SUCCESS!! Many thanks to all who attended and contributed. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the fabulous services of the Sanctuary Day Spa. More events are in the works!
