eu phe mism (u'fe-miz'm), n. [Gr. euphemismos <euphemizein, to use a good or auspicious word for an evil or inauspicious < euphemos, of good sound or omen <eu-, good + pheme, voice < phanai, to speak], 1. the use of a word or phrase that is less expressive or direct but considered less distasteful, less offensive, etc. than another.  2.a word or phrase so substituted (e.g., remains for corpse).

"North American Union" doesn't sound offensive, in fact, it sounds like it might be desirable!  But, don't be fooled; the NAU will take away more jobs, reduce the U.S. to a blended third-world nation and destroy our currency and sovereignty - permanently!
