About Dave…
A lifelong resident of District 14, Dave’s interest in politics and public service began almost 30 years ago. In 1985 he joined the City of Brook Park as the Administrative Assistant to the Mayor. Over the next eight years he rose to the position of Commissioner of Administration.
During his tenure he organized the City’s Human Resources Department; authored nearly $2 million dollars in grants that transformed neighborhoods and helped create more than 1,000 jobs. He continued his public service working with the county Auditor’s office; the City of Solon; and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation before going to work in the private sector. His private sector experience as a Human Resources consultant and employee has provided him with the opportunity to work with leading companies like National City Bank; Aetna; Patio Enclosures; Northwest Airlines and FedEx Office.
In announcing his candidacy for the 14th House District Dave has pledged to find realistic solutions to the issues of jobs, education and healthcare. His legislative agenda is to make Ohio the premiere destination for growth and development; reshaping the way we fund public education; restructuring our tax system and to restore northeast Ohio as the best place in which to live, work and raise a family. |
