Governor Kaine has proposed a series of tax hikes to pay for the state's transportation needs. While the Republican Caucus agrees that something needs to be done, it should be through a careful examination or VDOT's finances and by making sure that transportation money goes to transportation, not by taking even more money from working Virginia families during a soft economic period. |
