FEBRUARY 24, 2010

The regular meeting of the MTRCC took place February 24, 2010 at the Webb Dodge building on Roosevelt Road, Wheaton. The meeting was well attended by Committeemen and distinguished guests. The highlight of the evening came when the Committeemen selected their Treasurer for the coming term, there being no contests for the other offices of the organization. After moving speeches by both candidates, Marty Keller was elected Treasurer by secret ballot over incumbent Bob Earl. The remaining officers were elected by unanimous ballot and the officers for the 2010-2012 term are:

After the gavel was passed to Chairman Heidorn, the following Committee Chairs were appointed:

Marie Jensen, Ways & Means

Gary Muehlfelt, Unincorporated Areas

Catherine Galvin, Publicity & Public Relations

Chris Levan, Audit

Sal Falbo, Membership

The Chairman announced that there would be no regular meeting in March due to the March 3, 2010, Convention and that the next regular meeting would take place April 14, 2010, at Wheaton Bowl.

January 13, 2010

The regular monthly meeting of the MTRCC took place in the Webb Dodge building on Roosevelt Road. Vice Chairman, Chris Edwards, ran the meeting in the absence of Chairman Formento. Many candidates in the Republican Party Primary encouraged us to keep working right through election day, Feb. 2nd. Chris Edwards announced that elections for MTRCC offices would be held at a special meeting on Feb. 24th.

December 9, 2009

MTRCC held a short meeting and a longer Christmas party at the Webb Dodge building on Roosevelt Road. We are very greatful for the use of this facility. Chairman Mike Formento ran the meeting which was followed by a wonderful Italian dinner. Many commiteemen brought deserts to share and a good time was had by all.
