Following the Idaho Legislature
While the Capitol undergoes renovation, the Idaho Legislature will conduct business in the old Ada County Courthouse. The House and Senate chambers are on the third floor but in this temporary location, there is no room for a public gallery to watch our Legislators discuss Idaho issues.
Space will be tight in the Courthouse, but the Legislature has come up with new ways for citizens to keep an eye on what our elected officials are discussing.
Staying Involved
If you are in the temporary capitol:
- You can watch the live proceedings on monitors. Annex Room 145 will broadcast the House of Representatives in session and Annex Room 117 will broadcast the Senate in session.
- You can listen to the proceedings for the House on 89.9 fm radio and the Senate on 101.3 fm radio. For the Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee (JFAC), Annex Room 148 will supply an audio feed.
