Gubernatorial candidate Mike Protack (R-DE) responds to Bill Lee's plan to give drivers licenses to illegal immigrants.

SUMMARY:
- Protack calls Lee's comments "illogical and careless"
- Protack states that Lee's plan would give a legal document to someone who has illegal status.
- States Lee does not know what E-VERIFY is; and is "not someone who is up to being Governor".
THE PROTACK PLAN:
- State of Delaware would implement E-VERIFY, a collection of databases law enforcement and businesses would use to validate status on immigration, warrants, etc.
- Partner with local and municipal governments to provide hand-held scanners for police officers to use, and link up to databases when confronting those in question.
- Supports Senate Bill that penalizes employers who hire illegal immigrants.
